UPDATE #3 - There have been some issues with the power restoration, crews are still working on intermittent outages - please keep an eye on this page for updates. UPDATE #2 - Power has now been restored to all areas. If you are still experiencing an outage, please call 902-624-8327. UPDATE - NSPI are working with crews to bring individual circuits back online. This process could take a couple of hours, and you may experience intermittent outages after your power is restored until the process is complete. We are aware of an outage affecting all RELC customers. This is due to an issue at the sub-station. NS Power are on site and working on the repair, but we do not currently have a restoration time.

PLANNED POWER OUTAGE - JANUARY 19 at 7:30pm
Due to the storm, Nova Scotia Power has discovered that a planned outage is required to remove a tree leaning heavily on a transmission line outside of our area. Mahone Bay, Riverport, Lunenburg, and the surrounding areas will all experience this outage to safely remove the tree. The planned outage will begin at 7:30pm today, lasting approximately 15-30 minutes. Thank you for your patience! We are aware of an outage affecting all RELC customers. This is due to an issue at the sub-station. NS Power are on site and working on the repair, but we do not currently have a restoration time.
